The Cure

When you take something pure and corrupt it with reality it will never be the same. It doesn't mean it's a bad thing. It just proves that pure and simple doesn't exist and even if it does, it's only very brief and very fragile. When a picture says a thousand words, it is in our hands to capture every moment of pureness in our offspring's life. Only for them to look back to one day, with relief that they were also pure, innocent and relatively sane to begin with.
That is a gift and a comfort that lasts a lifetime.
A feeling that takes you to your core.
Something that is true and no one can tell you otherwise.
